Dazed

Finally.. the waiting and anticipation of Tokyo finally over...... The journey was smooth except for a few minor hiccups.... supposedly to meet my friend Dayah over there but she flew to Hong Kong a couple of days before that... so.. she forgots bout my trip.. but its ok.. maybe she's super busy and have better thiungs to settled ... but i dont take heart that much.. i survived nonetheless....

Tokyo was the first international destination for me... never been anywhere outside the comfort of my own country......not even sabah or sarawak.. iznnit pathetic.. but anyway, i never had the opportunities and means to go.... putting that aside, i'm there to work.. well... maybe not work but merely attending seminar.... not hard at all... more like holiday...he..he...

So, there i was, with my Director . i was so excited that i went out after i checked in... out for a walk around Ginza, the place where i stayed. T'was quite cold... i just let myself soaked in the atmostphere and lights.. lots f lights...

The programme was good.. well, for me lah that is... at least i learned something from it.... am not goin to talked much bout it... boring stuff....

Ralph was also there and it was gracious of him to entertain my whims and fancies and made time from his busy schedules... well..... the experience priceless i may say... it was fun....sombrely remembered as the days goes by...

After the programme finished and ralph went back to Osaka, i was all by myself... checked out of the super expensive boutique hotel with french flair and checked into a more practical hotel apartment.. with Japanese practicality...I was dazed... still confused in the city of 120 millions, i felt alone...... smells of ciggerette... mixed with asahi and sake...... stills lingers... I miss home... but i wouldnt let myself sucked into that state... vowed to enjoy myself....

So, there i was..... venturing outside alone.. armed with a good map and lots of loose change (for the subway)....
Went to shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Asakusa nad several other places in Tokyo......the usual tourist attractions......

So, why am i still not happy........ As people always say... Its complicated.... Hmmmmmm............

P.s The writer wish to apologise in advance for the erratic, incongruent writings.... he's still in the state of hung over and still recuperating from the journey.......
