Italiano... day 4....
Hrmmm.. today is a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long day.... really tiring... the lecture is about MADE IN ITALY... the lecturer is a guy.. Mr. Michele Lenoci... and he is sooo boring... heh..heh.. it doest help that he is not so good in english either... most of us was trying really2 hard to understands what he is trying to say.. and sumtimes, i think that we just lost in translation...plus, its really hard to give the right answer and he always will conflict our statements.. no wonder that he is a certified lawyer.. heh..heh....ahaks.....
in all of the boringness, i did learned a new word... Genius Loci (pronounced as : "geezniuz lochii").... it means a whole lots of things... it explains on how italians are successful as they are today.. well, its relative anyway... and it also explains on how we should be ourself... finding what is good for us and developing according to our ability.. history and culture... rather than emulating others... i found that the connotation of the words is really having a deep meaning.. although the lecture revolved around italian perceptions.. and how they conduct business, but i think that its also relevant for using it to explains on one's own identity... i think that in our race in this globalised world, sumhow, we have lost our sense of identity... and we try to emulate other cultures especially the americans... which is good up to only a certain points.... but the most important thing is, we have to evolve within our culture... change is good but it doesnt mean that u have to forgo your values and what u believed in.. aite!!....
anyway, apart from that, in the end, i found that we Malaysians and Italians... have lots of things in common... in certain ways such as family relationship... and our world view.. but sumhow, i think that its better for us malaysians... it doesnt mean that if ur one of the developed nations..but internally, the situation is not healty... such as the economic and the political situation of the country... like cancer.. thats eating you inside and out.... it made me really appreciate our government effort in industrialising the malaysian ecomony.. on how the government made policies and helps businesess.... im not saying that im really pro government.. every government do have thier own skeleton in the closet.. but at least our government is actually doiun sumthing for the people especially in driving the economy... and look at us now.... nearly a developed industrialised country and we achieved in in such a relatively short time... im just really glad.. especially in realising omy agency and in their roles in promoting industries... sempat lagi nak promote diri sendiri kannnnn... ahaks...
ok.. enuff of the boring stuff......anywho.. im really in love now.... im sooooooo much in love with ....... ITALIAN FOOD!!!!... its sooo much different eating it at home and over here ... the taste .. herm.. i cant explain it.. eventhough its just pasta.. and some broiled fish, but the taste is sooo godd.. PERFECTO!!!.... .. even the mashed potatoes is really yummy.. hrmmm.. talking bout food makes me hungry now... yippeee... its rnearly dinner time and cant wait to go to the restaurant... i really love the surprise on the dishes that they prepared.... the bad side of it is i think that im pilingh on kilos here... well.. it doesnt make any much different pun right... im already fat anyway... heh...heh...
occay... imgoin for dinner now.. maybe will stop by the supermarket to buy some overprised items.. heh..heh...
