Days turns into weeks........ weeks turns into months... and months turns into years.......... Owh..how time flies!!!!....

Currently, apart from the job offer that i got, suddenly, i was so overwhelmed by all the things that i have to finish off before i tender my resignation...and mind you, all is not only work!!

Im organising a farewell dinner.. not for myself but for a certain TOP MANAGEMENT who retired yesterday. Im in charge of the entertainment side of the dinner. Our own in-house talents will be singing and i also have put up 2 dance show which is Modern Salsa and another, a Broadway style dance to the tune of L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole. So, everyday after office hours for the last 2 weeks, i've been busy monitoring and coaching our in-house dancers to dance...and thats the reason i've been missing up on the weekly get-togather-session with my good friends. * am so sorry guys, but i will make up for it yeah*.....

Luckily, i've selected the best dancers so far and after a short period of time, they managed to dance well.. Im so proud of them.... Im also involved with the overall programme of the dinner, song selection and all.. and i must tell, that its not an easy tasks..... Lots of things have to be considered and for people to be having high expectation certainly puts me in a very hot situation. Alas, i thoroughly enjoy involving myself with these things as it is a welcome respite from my daily mundane work!!.. Oh i shall miss all this when i leave!!

Last friday, our Sports Club held its AGM.. so, this time around, new committee members were chosen to lead the Club activities... Previously, i held the spot of being the Assistant to the Secretary of the Social Bureau... but now, they nominated myself for the post of the Secretary of Social Bureau itself *kiranya daripada jadi Timbalan Menteri kepada Menteri penuh lah nih... heh..heh..* and the seat was contested by another person *who in the past had some issues with the club*... So, this particular person, was campaigning for people to vote for him.. through e-mail and thorugh his allies... I have to say that this was not the norm.. usually, if a person is nominated, we just had to wait until the day of the voting to find out the result.. no campaigning.. no lobbying were done... Not that i wanted the post so much but as i was involved with the Sports Club since i joined this organization, so, people think that im a more suitable candidate as i knew the inner workings of the Club and i've proven myself in handling numerous functions before....

So, in the end, when the votes were counted, i WON 2/3 majority!!... but i felt a bit dubious as i will be leaving this organization soon.. and actually there's no point for me to contest.. but since the members gave their full support to me, i guess, i have to properly choose my successor before i leave.... *tetiba terasa macam pilihanraya umum plak... ahaks*... It only goes to show that politics are everywhere and we can't disengaged ourself with politics...ha..ha ;)

About my offer, some of my friends knew about it already and i guess words are getting around.... It will be sad for me to leave this organisation whom had given myself much opportunities over the 3 short years that im here... I thoroughly enjoyed working over here... As in my previous posts, i had said that i found many-many great friends here... friends that knew about my true self and accept it with an open heart.. friends who gave me support emotionally and physically and im feeling down.... friends to laugh and cry with.... But i have to think about my future and i think that its the time for me to move on to other pastures... Whether it will be a lot greener on the other side, only time will tell... But for now, Im determined, no matter what, i will take the calculated risks...i will accept the offer and praying that im making the right decision for my future....... ;)
